Kirkby Lonsdale and barbondale

Meet at 10am at Devil’s Bridge, Kirkby Lonsdale (SD 6155 7823 or What3Words: ///fruits.composed.different). Free car parking is available on either side of the bridge. Public toilets are located on the west side. On the east side is an excellent snack bar that sells hot drinks and sandwiches (or bring a packed lunch).
The guided walk from here along the River Lune will take 1.5 hrs to 2hrs. Walking boots are recommended.
In the afternoon, we will re-locate to Barbondale and meet at the information panel (SD 6566 8282 or What3Words: ///fizzled.monitors.fluffed) for 1.30pm. The journey time from the Devil’s Bridge to Barbondale is about 15 mins. Please park considerately on the roadside. The guided walk from here is about 2 hrs. We expect to finish around 4pm.
